The announcement, made in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, identified the lamp as a PL1071 model, a number that can be found at the bottom of the lamp.
Affected products are described as white plastic, spindle angle swivel design with white cloth drum shoelaces and two three-way pull chain switches.
